RCT Authority (“RCT Authority,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this online store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or buy from us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.
[ INFORMATION WE COLLECT ]
Information you provide directly:
- Orders & Checkout: When you place an order, our store platform (Shopify) collects your name, shipping and billing address, email, and order details to process and ship your purchase. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment processors — we do not collect or store your full payment-card number.
- Account: If you sign in to view your Service Record, we (via Shopify’s Customer Account service) process your email and order history, and we store a rank/discount value tied to your account.
- Contact Form: When you message us through the contact form, we collect the email address and message you submit so we can reply.
Information collected automatically:
- Analytics: Subject to your region’s consent rules, Google Analytics collects usage and device data (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, browser/device type) to help us understand how the store is used. See “Cookies & Consent” below for how consent works where you live.
- Advertising: Subject to your region’s consent rules, we load advertising and measurement tags from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads. These record browsing actions such as pages and products viewed, items added to cart, and checkouts started, along with a non-identifying device/visitor identifier, so we can measure and improve our ads. See “Cookies & Consent” below — opt-in in the EU/UK, opt-out in the US.
- Cookies & Local Storage: We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to run the cart, keep you signed in, remember your consent choice, and (after consent) measure analytics.
[ COOKIES & CONSENT ]
We apply the privacy rules of your region. In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising default to denied— nothing loads or records until you select AUTHORIZE in the consent banner (opt-in). In the United States and other regions, analytics and ad measurement are on by default and you may opt out at any time using the OPT OUT control in the banner; our advertising pixels run in a limited, privacy-protective mode (e.g. Meta Limited Data Use). We also honor the browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. Either way you can withdraw or opt out later by clearing this site’s data, or via Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The storage we use:
- rct-consent: Remembers your analytics consent choice (local storage).
- rct-cart-storage: Keeps your cart contents between visits (local storage).
- rct_ca_session: Keeps you signed in to your account; encrypted and HTTP-only.
- _ga / _ga_* (Google Analytics): Set only after you authorize analytics; used to measure site usage.
- Advertising cookies & IDs (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads): Set only after you authorize — e.g. Meta’s _fbp, TikTok’s pixel cookies, and Google Ads’ _gcl_* (conversion linker), plus a first-party visitor ID we store to measure ad performance.
- Shopify cookies: Shopify sets its own cookies on the checkout and account pages to operate the cart, checkout, and login.
[ HOW WE USE INFORMATION ]
- Fulfill Orders: Process, produce, ship, and provide support for your purchases.
- Accounts & Rewards: Operate your account and the rank/discount program.
- Communicate: Reply to contact-form inquiries and send order/transactional emails.
- Marketing: Send promotional emails only to customers who have opted in (see “Marketing Communications”).
- Improve the Store: Use consented analytics to understand and improve the experience.
- Security: Protect the site, prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting the contact form), and comply with legal obligations.
[ HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION ]
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as needed:
- Shopify: Our e-commerce platform — hosts the store, processes checkout and payments, and manages customer accounts. See the Shopify Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics: Provides usage analytics (after your consent). See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Advertising Partners (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads): With your consent, we share browsing actions and a non-identifying visitor ID with Meta, TikTok, and Google Adsto measure and improve our advertising. We may also share conversion data from completed purchases through Shopify’s sales-channel connections to these platforms. Nothing is shared unless you authorize it, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time.
- Resend: Delivers our transactional and promotional emails (Resend Privacy Policy).
- Print & Fulfillment Partners: Receive the order and shipping details needed to produce your made-to-order items and ship them to you.
- Legal: We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information.
[ MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS ]
We send promotional emails (such as rank-up notices) only to customers who have opted in to marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. Order and account emails are transactional and are not marketing.
[ DATA RETENTION ]
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the store, fulfill orders, operate accounts, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
[ DATA SECURITY ]
The site is served over HTTPS, and your sign-in session is stored in an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.
[ U.S. DATA PROCESSING ]
RCT Authority is based in the United States and processes data in the United States. If you access the store from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
[ YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS ]
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to withdraw analytics consent. To exercise any of these, email us at info@rctauthority.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights regarding your personal information:
- Categories We Collect: Identifiers (e.g. name, email, address, and a consented advertising visitor ID); commercial information (e.g. orders); internet/activity information (e.g. consented analytics and advertising-pixel events); and approximate location. We collect these for the purposes described above.
- Right to Know & Access: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Delete & Correct: Request that we delete or correct your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out: We do not sell your personal information for money, but we do share certain browsing activity with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time using the OPT OUT control in our banner, by emailing us, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor automatically. Our ad pixels also run in a limited, privacy-protective mode.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

[ CHILDREN’S PRIVACY ]
This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies before sharing your information.
